IFAS activities discussed during the Forum in Ashgabat

The International Conference “The Role of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in the Development of Cooperation in the Central Asian Region” was held in the large conference hall of the Agricultural Complex of Turkmenistan. The forum was organized in the framework of the presidency of Turkmenistan in IFAS for the period 2017-2019.

Representatives of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia, the German International Cooperation (GIZ), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, heads of foreign representative offices accredited in the country, etc. participated in the conference. Continue reading
